I have been asked countless times why I ride, followed right up by countless lectures of the dangers of it. Most of the time, these questions and lectures come from people who have either never ridden in their lives; or didn’t grow up around motorcycles so the more you try to explain your point, the more they refuse to understand the logic behind your actions.
Thanks to a buddy of mine, I was able to write a bash script to pretty much fully automate DVD creation from video files. The original article can be found HERE if you would like to see how I started.
Didn’t have enough time to finish writing individual day posts so I just lumped them all together into one. This vacation was the best vacation I ever took in my life. It was not only the most relaxing and enjoyable experience of my life, but the fact that I got to enjoy this magical place with my wife (and best friend) made it all the more special to me. We didn’t do much in the way of activities, but what we didn’t do was made up for in terms of spending time together and exploring parts of the island.
Well, It was a long day today. We got up at 4:00am central time to catch our 7:15am flight from O’Hare and from there it was all downhill. Never have I ever been so exhausted with flying in my life. Next time I want to take 3 planes over the course of one day, someone please insist otherwise. However, i must say Hawaii is so beautiful that I cannot wait to see what it brings Kitty and I while we are on our trip. I will keep you up to date with our comings and goings. Oh and by the way the view from our room is gorgeous! Just take a look:
Yesterday we lost a member of our family … We lost Victoria the fish (Kitty’s). Kitty was very upset as both our lives have been plagued by many deaths (both family and non). So her fish passing struck a nerve and it was very hard to get over. We bought Victoria when we bough Vlad a little over a year ago and she was as much a part of our family as is any other pet. We will remember her forever. R.I.P.
As of the 17th of this month Kitty and I have been together for 3.5 years and have been engaged for half a year, my does time fly by. Once again my beautiful fiance has surprised me and surpassed my most wildest dreams with the gift she has gotten me. She got me a tablet, and I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am. This amazing woman knows me so well and knows how to get me every time.
Today on this day June 18th, 2013 I asked Mary Catherine Shamoon to marry me. And she said Yes! I could not be more happy! I get to spend the rest of my life with the most amazing woman and my best friend.
